Patch 1.04 which includes a new, FREE city-themed map called Brownie Town as well as some online ranking fixes. See you on the battlefield. Fat-Princess.com is dying. Some would say dead. At first I was excited. Titan and Epic Games China replied to my first few emails, but it all hit a dead end. They obviously don’t care. I thought we both had the same goal in mind. Sell more Fat Princess so more people can enjoy this awesome game. At this point, I wish someone would take over, and run this site, or Titan can buy the domain. I’m doing my best to survive in real life, and unfortunately, playing games for hours doesn’t make me any $. 1.03 Patch Notes After playing innumerable games, reading the forums and piles of email, and reviewing all the great feedback we received from you, the fans, we have made a variety of tweaks to the gameplay balance and systems to ensure the game stays fair, fresh and as fun as ever. Here is a full breakdown of all the changes that can be found in the upcoming patch. Game System Tweaks
Main Bug Fixes A couple Titan developers were at PAX 2009 to show off the upcoming Fat Princess map named New Pork. They also took some time to talk about other improvements they are working on based on fan feedback. Devs that actually listen are a wonderful thing and will ensure that the game will only get better with time. The player base would dwindle if bugs, exploits, and over/under powered classes remained unchanged. Enough yapping. Here is the video: I’ve started adding people to my friends list recently, and what I do is add the top couple players from both teams. Points aren’t everything, but a pretty decent indicator that the player is keeping busy and at least doing something right. I’m still thinking about taking a new psn id (fat-princess.com) online, but I think I’ll stick with what I’ve been using since I’ve gotten so fabulous. Please add me as a friend and I’ll see you on the battle field. PSN “Paniusia” I was going to plug a Broccoli Crew’s fan site but unfortunately it is down atm, so I’ll update this post as soon as I hear it’s up.
Sorry, It my my birthday yesterday, and I didn’t have a chance to check for any new fat princess news, but better late than never. The update is about the new upcoming DLC for fat princess, and one of the many new maps/etc will be the New Pork map. Other rumored maps are: Frost Bite, Candy Mountain and Brownie Town New Pork offers an exciting array of strategies to slice and dice your way to victory. Use multiple sewer shortcuts to sneak up behind your enemies, blow up barricades to open up new routes of assault and defend your princess from the rooftops. New Pork is just the beginning of additional content for Fat Princess. For details on New Pork and news of the coming update, as well as PAX video interviews with the Titan Devs, stay tuned to the Titan Blog. I received a reply from Titan studios and found out that the maps aren’t simple jpgs, but a complex collage of textures and that IGN did their map guide using screen caps. From Titan’ s Blog: “After receiving countless images and YouTube videos from our fans, we have successfully reproduced and debugged the wackiness of the missing Princesses. The collision error that was discovered also helped us to fix the Hat Machines that sometimes forgot to spit out hats.” Great Job Titan. Has anyone out there experienced a buy where the camera zooms in way to close and you can’t see your character? I’m talking barely above the ground/and cut into higher areas zoomed in. I’ve been wanting to do these for a while, but I’m currently waiting on Titan/Epic games China to deliver the images I need. Sorry for the wait, but it’s not up to me. I’ve emailed Titan and Epic Games China a few days ago, and again today, so I hope they take notice. |
