I received a reply from Titan studios and found out that the maps aren’t simple jpgs, but a complex collage of textures and that IGN did their map guide using screen caps.
So here is the plea. I unfortunately do not have a way to capture pics of the maps, so if anyone out there has this possibility, I would really appreciate the images so I can finally get the map guide/strats up. cake@fat-princess.com
From Titan’ s Blog: “After receiving countless images and YouTube videos from our fans, we have successfully reproduced and debugged the wackiness of the missing Princesses. The collision error that was discovered also helped us to fix the Hat Machines that sometimes forgot to spit out hats.” Great Job Titan.
Has anyone out there experienced a buy where the camera zooms in way to close and you can’t see your character? I’m talking barely above the ground/and cut into higher areas zoomed in.
I’ve been wanting to do these for a while, but I’m currently waiting on Titan/Epic games China to deliver the images I need.
Sorry for the wait, but it’s not up to me. I’ve emailed Titan and Epic Games China a few days ago, and again today, so I hope they take notice.
 fat princess king class
The art dept. over at Titan studios is in high gear. Day after day we get to see new concept art. Will all this art ever materialize into a playable class? The characters look polished, so perhaps they had these made long ago when they were at the drawing board stage and are releasing them for the fans…. More waiting.
Titan has served up some fresh concept art for a possible future Cook Class, or perhaps it will be called Cook Class since that’s what they named the image. Either way, I don’t know what is happening any more. The current maps don’t have enough room for hat machines for a ninja, pirate and cook class. What’s next, a Knitting Class? Why not have a Clown Class?
The surprises just keep coming. I just barely posted about a possible Ninja class in Fat Princess, and now we can feast our eyes on this. Concept art for a future class? All I know is that the Titan Dev team is hard at work, and that is good news for Fat Princess fans.
I imagine this might be something they are planning on introducing down the road, or perhaps the people in the art department are just having some fun. I guess we’ll have to keep an eye on it and see how this develops. Perhaps the Fat Downloads menu item in the game will soon have something behind it.
I wonder if they will introduce this as a new class, and whether the class will have the ability to disguise themselves as the enemy to infiltrate and get behind enemy lines. Time will tell. Thank you Titan for continuing to support the game. Other developers should pay attention.

Only American players have received the patch so far. European Fat Princess fans will have to wait a week, but it will definitely be worth it. From the Titan Blog:
Patch Notes
Our primary focus with this patch was to improve connections and reduce lag. We also addressed the AoE scoring exploits, a few other scoring imbalances, and made minor tweaks that should reduce stalemates. Here are the details:
- The server selection heuristic has been modified so that ping time has been more heavily weighted when selecting potential matches. This will result in players being connected to games in such a way that game population and ping are more evenly weighted.
- Newly hosted servers will be more attractive to potential clients and thus fill up more quickly. The change will also better distribute connection attempts among servers and thus reduce failed attempts.
- Potential servers will be given less time to respond to ping requests. This should speed up that portion of the connection process.
- Selected servers will be given more time to establish a connection, resulting in fewer failed attempts.
- The connection code is less sensitive to packets coming back out of order. This was a cause of failed connections.
- Ice Mage and Dark Priest AoE scoring has been adjusted from 10 points to 2 points per enemy affected.
- Non-worker resource return has been reduced from 20 points to 10 points.
- Feeding the princess has been reduced from 20 points to 15 points.
- Castle door hit points have been reduced slightly from 30 to 25.
- The Princess’ calorie burn has been increased at weight stage 2, 3, and 4. Calorie burn was previously 2 per second at all stages. Stage 2 is now 4 per second, stage 3 is 8 per second, and stage 4 is 12 per second.
I’ve personally noticed that finding a game has gone from a try and fail, try and fail situation that took 2-3 minutes a try to getting into games within a minute of choosing jump in. That should silence 90% of the whiners. Lag issues have also mostly gone away. Thanks Titan.
It has been about a week since I registered the domain, and I just finally made some time to get something going today. I’ll keep making changes to get the theme looking and behaving the way I want, so bear with me.
