Try to keep away from areas on maps that funnel a lot of characters into one tight space since any the all out warfare that goes on there doesn’t serve any long term goals and in effect cause resources to diminish much faster. Use the minimap to find the least populated areas to traverse and come up with strategies that avoid direct confronation as much as possible.

Use the Advanced Warrior’s charged attack to not only unleash more damage on enemies but to propel through the environment quicker and over greater distances. Cross deadly gaps using this useful ability.

Tapping the attack button rapidly when trapped in the Ice Mage’s frozen grasp allows you to break out quickly.

Drop the big bombs in the catapult then launch it off but dont stay in it or BOOM!

Put on the Worker hat as soon as the match starts and build the doors to make snatching your princess harder, and some quick points.

When playing as a Worker team up with another Worker and have one player harvest wood or ore and the other run them to the outpost. It’s more efficient that way.

All maps have different shortcuts apart from the obvious catapult and siege machine methods. This could be a levitating platform, an underground passage, a high ridge or warp pipes. Try to learn what they are for each map. Typically, these shortcuts aren’t free. Players will usually have to knock down obstacles or build machines in order to use the faster routes. Workers tend to be the best choice for both tasks.
Chicken Flight: Players can also use chicken form strategically because it enables a limited abilty to fly while jumping. Chickens can easily jump large gaps or greatly affect catapult aftertouch.
